Video guide: Retatrutide in the Philippines: Status, Trials, Sourcing (2:10)

Searching for retatrutide in the Philippines? Here is the short answer, checked September 2026. Retatrutide is an investigational peptide from Eli Lilly that activates three hormone receptors: GLP-1, GIP and glucagon. It is not registered with FDA Philippines, and no regulator anywhere has approved it. No pharmacy here sells it, and no pharmaceutical version exists, so pharmacy grade claims are mislabelled. In TRIUMPH-1, a phase 3 trial of 2,339 adults without diabetes, body weight fell 28.3% at 80 weeks on the highest-dose arm, against 2.2% on placebo. The most common side effects were nausea, diarrhoea and constipation. Nausea was reported in 28.6% to 42.4% of participants. 11.3% on the highest-dose arm stopped because of side effects, against 4.9% on placebo. Dysesthesia, a change in skin sensation, appeared in every phase 3 trial. What is sold here is research material: not approved for human use, and sold for research only. Our partner and supplier, Primara Labs, lists a retatrutide vial at [₱3,390 for the 20 mg vial], or [₱2,076] each in a 10 pack. That is about [₱170] per mg, or [₱104] in a 10 pack. Retatrutide batch RETA-4728-A was tested by Janoshik for bacterial endotoxin. Batch reports are published at primaralabs.com/coa as they are issued. Every vial order includes bacteriostatic water, insulin syringes and alcohol pads. Metro Manila orders before noon arrive the same day, provinces ship by J&T, and there is a 60-day money-back guarantee. Read the full guide on Philippines Peptides, then see retatrutide at Primara Labs and order on WhatsApp. [Figures in square brackets corrected on 3 November 2026 from Primara's current catalogue: the narration gives the price of the 15 mg retatrutide vial, retired on 12 October 2026.]

## Short answer

Retatrutide is not available here as a medicine. A 23 September 2026 portal search found no registered retatrutide product, and FDA Philippines warned the public against an unregistered retatrutide 30 mg vial (FDA Advisory No. 2026-1265, 26 September 2026). No regulator has approved it. Lilly plans a US filing in Q1 2027. What is sold here is research material.

## What retatrutide is

Retatrutide (LY3437943) is an investigational peptide from Eli Lilly that activates three hormone receptors: GLP-1, the target of [semaglutide](https://www.philippinespeptides.com/peptides/semaglutide); GIP, the second target of [tirzepatide](https://www.philippinespeptides.com/peptides/tirzepatide); and glucagon. It is being studied for obesity and type 2 diabetes. The mechanism, half-life and each safety topic are covered on the [retatrutide compound page](https://www.philippinespeptides.com/peptides/retatrutide).

No pharmaceutical retatrutide exists anywhere. A product described as "pharmacy grade" or "prescription" retatrutide is mislabelled, because no regulator has approved one.

## Status in the Philippines

A search of the FDA Philippines verification portal on 23 September 2026 returned no registered retatrutide product. The same search found none for [BPC-157 Philippines](https://www.philippinespeptides.com/peptides/bpc157) or [selank](https://www.philippinespeptides.com/peptides/selank), two other compounds sold here as research vials. Under RA 9711, anything intended to affect the structure or a function of the body is a drug, and a drug must be registered before it is imported, sold or distributed. What registration means is on the [FDA registration page](https://www.philippinespeptides.com/legal/fda-registration).

On 4 September 2026 the regulator warned the public against two unregistered tirzepatide vials sold with bacteriostatic water, a vial-and-water format also used for research peptides. ## FAQ

### Is retatrutide available in the Philippines?

Not as a medicine. A search of the FDA Philippines verification portal on 23 September 2026 returned no registered retatrutide product, and no regulator anywhere has approved one, so no Philippine pharmacy or hospital sells it. FDA Philippines has warned the public against buying or using an unregistered retatrutide 30 mg vial (FDA Advisory No. 2026-1265, 26 September 2026). What is sold is research material, labelled for research use.

### Is retatrutide legal in the Philippines?

Retatrutide is not registered with FDA Philippines. Under RA 9711 a drug must be registered before it is imported, sold or distributed, and FDA Philippines has warned the public against unregistered GLP-1 products such as tirzepatide vials sold with bacteriostatic water. This is general information, not legal advice.

### When will retatrutide be approved?

No approval date exists. Sponsor plans a US Biologics License Application submission in Q1 2027, according to Lilly's release of 23 July 2026. A US submission is not an approval, and no Philippine filing has been announced.

### What did the retatrutide trials find?

In TRIUMPH-1, a phase 3 trial of 2,339 adults with obesity or overweight without diabetes, body weight fell by 28.3% at 80 weeks on the highest-dose arm, against 2.2% on placebo. The most common adverse events were gastrointestinal, and dysesthesia, a change in skin sensation, was reported in every phase 3 trial.

### What has Eli Lilly said about research-use retatrutide?

On 12 August 2026 Lilly stated that no retatrutide medicine is approved anywhere and said it has sued US sellers that label retatrutide research-use only while intending it for human use. The statement does not mention the Philippines.
