Two caveats before anyone treats this table as a leaderboard. First, these are separate trials with different durations and populations, not one head-to-head. The head-to-head that does exist compared tirzepatide with semaglutide: In SURMOUNT-5, a 72-week phase 3b trial of 751 adults with obesity and no type 2 diabetes that compared the two directly, body weight fell 20.2% on tirzepatide against 13.7% on semaglutide, each at the maximum tolerated dose. Second, each figure is the highest-dose arm of its trial, and a trial average is not a personal forecast.

Retatrutide also has an earlier phase 2 result: in a 48-week phase 2 trial of 338 adults with obesity or overweight, body weight fell 24.2% on the 12 mg arm, against 2.1% on placebo. The phase 3 figure above is the more mature one.
