The strongest evidence found for CJC-1295 (with DAC) comes from small human studies, and every finding below carries its evidence level.

## What is CJC-1295 (with DAC)

CJC-1295 is a modified analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH 1-29). The form studied in people carries a reactive group that binds to albumin in the blood, which extends its half-life to several days and gives sustained rises in growth hormone and IGF-1. Browse the full [peptide library](https://www.philippinespeptides.com/peptides) for related compounds.

In people, the strongest evidence recorded in the evidence dataset is small human studies. Two small randomised, placebo-controlled, ascending-dose trials in healthy adults (J Clin Endocrinol Metab 2006) with growth hormone and IGF-1 readouts only; a phase 2 trial in HIV was terminated without results. The readouts were hormone levels, not body composition or health outcomes.

[CJC-1295 without DAC](https://www.philippinespeptides.com/peptides/cjc1295-no-dac) (Mod GRF 1-29) lacks the albumin-binding group; the human trials described here studied the DAC form. [Ipamorelin](https://www.philippinespeptides.com/peptides/ipamorelin), which acts on the ghrelin (growth hormone secretagogue) receptor, and [tesamorelin](https://www.philippinespeptides.com/peptides/tesamorelin), another growth hormone-releasing hormone analogue, have their own pages.

## How it works

GHRH receptor: CJC-1295 targets the GHRH receptor (pituitary), the receptor through which growth hormone-releasing hormone signals growth hormone release. In the small human trials, one injection raised growth hormone levels.

Albumin binding: the DAC form carries a reactive group that binds albumin in the blood, which extends its half-life to several days.

IGF-1: in the same small human trials, the rise in growth hormone was accompanied by a rise in IGF-1, the hormone the liver produces in response to growth hormone.

## Benefits studied

- Sustained growth hormone and IGF-1 rise: Small human studies Two small placebo-controlled trials in healthy adults aged 21 to 61 found one injection of the DAC form of CJC-1295 raised growth hormone 2 to 10-fold for 6 days or more and IGF-1 1.5 to 3-fold for 9 to 11 days. - Growth hormone pulses preserved: Small human studies A non-randomised study of healthy men aged 20 to 40 found trough growth hormone 7.5-fold higher and IGF-1 45% higher a week after CJC-1295, with pulse frequency and size unchanged. [Source: J Clin Endocrinol Metab 2006](https://doi.org/10.1210/jc.2006-1702)

- Growth in growth hormone-deficient mice: Animal and cell In mice lacking growth hormone-releasing hormone, 5 weeks of CJC-1295 produced normal body weight and length. This is animal evidence only. [Source: Am J Physiol Endocrinol Metab 2006](https://doi.org/10.1152/ajpendo.00201.2006)

## Side effects reported

No human trial in the datasets reports adverse-event rates for CJC-1295, whose human evidence is limited to small human studies (2 completed randomised trials identified). Without controlled data, its safety in people is unknown rather than established.

## Regulatory status

**FDA Philippines**

- Not published Could not be established: the FDA Philippines verification portal search timed out on 23 September 2026, retried the same day in a browser with the same result.

**US FDA**

- No record found Drugs@FDA returned no approved or tentatively approved application for this substance. Drugs@FDA does not list investigational products. Separately, the FDA lists it on its page of bulk drug substances for compounding that may present significant safety risks (current as of 22 April 2026); that page concerns compounding, not approval.

**European Medicines Agency**

- No record found No row for this substance in the EMA medicines report generated 22 September 2026. That report does not cover national authorisations in EU member states.

## FAQ

### What is the difference between CJC-1295 with DAC and without DAC?

The DAC form carries a reactive group that binds albumin in the blood, which extends its half-life to several days. CJC-1295 without DAC, also called Mod GRF 1-29, lacks that group. The human trials in the evidence dataset studied the DAC form.

### What evidence exists for CJC-1295 with DAC?

The strongest human evidence for CJC-1295 in the evidence dataset is small human studies, with 2 completed human randomised controlled trials identified. Two small randomised, placebo-controlled, ascending-dose trials in healthy adults (J Clin Endocrinol Metab 2006) with growth hormone and IGF-1 readouts only; a phase 2 trial in HIV was terminated without results.

### Sourcing peptides in the Philippines

Primara Labs, our partner and supplier, ships from inventory already inside the Philippines, so there is no customs leg: vials are batch-numbered, Metro Manila orders dispatch same day, the rest of the country lands in 1 to 5 business days, and the store lists 10% off every order. The current list sits on one page, and anything you cannot see on it goes through the same WhatsApp thread.

The supply index covers what to ask a seller before paying, and why quoted prices vary so widely.
