Video guide: Ozempic Price in the Philippines, and the Research Vial (1:53)

Looking up the Ozempic price in the Philippines? Here is what a pen actually costs, checked at Philippine pharmacies in September 2026. Watsons, Southstar Drug and Rose Pharmacy all list the 1 mg pen at ₱9,280. The lowest listing we found was MedsGo, at ₱7,599 for the 0.5 mg pen. Mercury Drug publishes no price online. The label says the 1 mg pen holds 4 doses. That is 4 mg of semaglutide, or about ₱2,320 per mg. Ozempic is registered with FDA Philippines as a prescription medicine. Prescribing belongs with a licensed Philippine physician. Search for semaglutide and you will also find it sold a second way: as a research vial. These are not the same product. The pen is a registered medicine, ready to use. A research vial is not approved for human use, is sold for research only, and comes as a powder you reconstitute. Our partner and supplier, Primara Labs, lists a 15 mg semaglutide vial at ₱1,990, or ₱1,216 per vial in a 10 pack. Side by side, per mg: the pen works out to about ₱2,320. The vial is about ₱133, and about ₱81 in a 10 pack. Every vial order comes with bacteriostatic water, insulin syringes and alcohol pads. Primara stocks in Metro Manila. Orders before noon arrive the same day, provinces ship by J&T, and there is a 60-day money-back guarantee. Read the full price table on Philippines Peptides, then see semaglutide at Primara Labs and order on WhatsApp.

Price per 1 pen, as each pharmacy or clinic lists it on its own page, checked 23 September 2026. An empty cell means that seller publishes no price for that strength online; nothing is estimated. Mercury Drug publishes no prices online.

Wegovy is the same molecule, semaglutide, at weight-management strengths, and has its own per-pen table: [Wegovy price Philippines](https://www.philippinespeptides.com/guides/wegovy-price-philippines). Both are prescription medicines, and prescribing belongs with a licensed Philippine physician.

The strongest evidence found for Semaglutide comes from phase 3 human trials, and every finding below carries its evidence level.

## What is Semaglutide

Semaglutide is a GLP-1 analogue made by Novo Nordisk. It is the active ingredient in Ozempic (a weekly injection registered for type 2 diabetes), Wegovy (a weekly injection registered for weight management) and Rybelsus (a daily tablet). All three are prescription medicines in the Philippines.

The pens and tablets are registered medicines, made and released under a regulator-approved process. A research-grade vial of semaglutide is not a medicine, is not registered anywhere, and is not a substitute for a prescribed pen.

## How it works

Semaglutide binds to and activates the GLP-1 receptor, the same receptor the body’s own GLP-1 hormone uses. That receptor sits in the pancreas, the gut and the brain, which is why the trials measured effects on blood sugar, appetite and body weight.

The molecule carries a fatty-acid side chain that binds albumin in the blood, which is what gives it a half-life long enough for once-weekly injection in the branded pens.

Tirzepatide and retatrutide add further receptors (GIP, and GIP plus glucagon). The [tirzepatide](https://www.philippinespeptides.com/peptides/tirzepatide) and [retatrutide](https://www.philippinespeptides.com/peptides/retatrutide) guides cover their trials. Other research compounds sit far behind that trial record: [MOTS-c Philippines](https://www.philippinespeptides.com/peptides/mots-c) is rated animal and cell in the evidence dataset, and [NAD+ Philippines](https://www.philippinespeptides.com/peptides/nad) is rated small human studies. The two registered pens are compared directly on [Mounjaro vs Ozempic](https://www.philippinespeptides.com/guides/mounjaro-vs-ozempic-philippines), and pharmacy-prepared versions are explained in the [compounded tirzepatide](https://www.philippinespeptides.com/guides/compounded-tirzepatide-philippines) guide.

This page is editorial information for adults researching peptide therapy. It is not medical advice, not a prescription, and not an endorsement of any specific product, supplier, or protocol. Side effects can be serious and individual response varies. Talk to a licensed physician (ideally one with peptide-specific clinical experience) before starting any compound, adjusting a dose, or discontinuing therapy.

In the Philippines, GLP-1 medications are prescription-only under FDA Philippines regulation. Research-grade peptides occupy a regulatory gray area: import for personal research use is generally tolerated, but the Bureau of Customs reserves the right to inspect and detain shipments. Do not import for resale.
