Video guide: TB-500 in the Philippines: Evidence, Status, Sourcing (2:11)

Searched TB-500 in the Philippines? Here is what it is, and what the evidence shows. TB-500 is related to thymosin beta-4, a 43-amino-acid protein that binds actin in cells. But the literature identifies TB-500 as just 7 of those amino acids: the fragment Ac-LKKTETQ. One caution. Our partner and supplier's catalogue listed the full 43-residue sequence, so identity details are withheld until the supplier confirms the molecule. The evidence is rated animal and cell. No completed human randomised trial has been identified for the fragment, and one is recruiting. In aged and diabetic mice, the fragment promoted skin wound repair about as well as the full protein. In a 2024 cell test, the activity came from a breakdown product, not TB-500 itself. Full-length thymosin beta-4 is a different molecule, with 10 completed human trials, mostly as eye drops. The guide lists fatigue, headache, injection site reactions and lightheadedness as common side effects. FDA Philippines status could not be established: its verification portal timed out. The US FDA has no approved application on record. Our partner and supplier, Primara Labs, lists TB-500 10 mg at ₱2,390, or ₱1,458 per vial in a 10 pack. Research use only. BPC-157, a different molecule, is 20 mg at the same price. Every order includes bacteriostatic water, insulin syringes and alcohol pads, with same-day Metro Manila delivery when you order by noon on a weekday. There is a 60-day money-back guarantee: if an accredited independent laboratory reports the vial is not the compound on the label, Primara refunds what you paid. Read the full guide on Philippines Peptides, then see TB-500 at Primara Labs and order on WhatsApp.

The strongest evidence found for TB-500 comes from animal and cell studies, and every finding below carries its evidence level.

## What is TB-500

TB-500 is a synthetic peptide related to thymosin beta-4 (Tβ4), a 43-amino-acid protein and the main actin-sequestering molecule in cells. The analytical literature identifies TB-500 as the acetylated fragment Ac-LKKTETQ, the central actin-binding sequence of thymosin beta-4, rather than the full-length protein (Esposito et al., Drug Test Anal 2012). Browse the full [peptide library](https://www.philippinespeptides.com/peptides) for related compounds.

The two molecules have different evidence. The TB-500 fragment has animal and cell data only: no completed human randomised controlled trial has been identified for it, and one human trial is recruiting. Full-length thymosin beta-4 has human trials, mostly as eye drops; two phase 3 dry-eye trials posted near-identical results in both arms, and a small phase 3 corneal trial stopped early without a significant result.

Identity note from the research dataset of our partner and supplier: The catalogue listed the full 43-residue thymosin beta-4 sequence under the name TB-500, while the analytical literature identifies TB-500 as the fragment Ac-LKKTETQ, and the catalogue's formula matched neither PubChem record. Identity fields are withheld until the supplier confirms which molecule the vial contains.

## How it works

Actin binding: thymosin beta-4 binds actin, and its central sequence LKKTETQ is reported in animal and cell studies to promote cell migration, new blood vessel growth and wound healing.

Wound repair in animals: in aged and diabetic mice, the seven-amino-acid fragment LKKTETQ promoted skin wound repair about as well as the full-length protein (Wound Repair Regen 2003).

Breakdown product: a 2024 cell study found that wound-healing activity in a scratch-wound test came from a TB-500 breakdown product, Ac-LKKTE, while TB-500 itself did not show it (J Chromatogr B 2024).

## Benefits studied

- Skin wound repair: Animal and cell In an animal study, the seven-amino-acid thymosin beta-4 fragment LKKTETQ helped skin wounds repair in aged and diabetic mice about as well as the full-length protein. There is no human trial of the fragment. [Source: Wound Repair Regen 2003](https://doi.org/10.1046/j.1524-475x.2003.11105.x)

- Cell wound closure: Animal and cell In a cell scratch-wound test, a TB-500 breakdown product (Ac-LKKTE) showed wound-healing activity while TB-500 itself did not. This is cell evidence only. [Source: J Chromatogr B 2024](https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jchromb.2024.124033)

## Side effects reported

No human trial in the datasets reports adverse-event rates for TB-500, which has been studied in animals and cells only. Without controlled data, its safety in people is unknown rather than established.

## Regulatory status

**FDA Philippines**

- No registered drug product found on the FDA verification portal.

**US FDA**

- No record found Drugs@FDA returned no approved or tentatively approved application for this substance. Drugs@FDA does not list investigational products. Separately, the FDA lists it on its page of bulk drug substances for compounding that may present significant safety risks (current as of 22 April 2026); that page concerns compounding, not approval.

**European Medicines Agency**

- No record found No row for this substance in the EMA medicines report generated 22 September 2026. That report does not cover national authorisations in EU member states.

### Sourcing peptides in the Philippines

Primara Labs, our partner and supplier, ships from inventory already inside the Philippines, so there is no customs leg: vials are batch-numbered, Metro Manila orders dispatch same day, the rest of the country lands in 1 to 5 business days, and the store lists 10% off every order. The current list sits on one page, and anything you cannot see on it goes through the same WhatsApp thread.
