Why COA is important

COA stands for Certificate of Analysis. Without it, you have no way of knowing what you are actually injecting. The single most important safety check for any research peptide order.

§ 01

Why COA matters

§ 02

What a COA should include

  • 01Peptide identity confirmed (mass spec or HPLC)
  • 02Purity percentage listed (98%+ for injectables)
  • 03Batch/lot number matching your vial
  • 04Testing date within the last 12 months
  • 05Verifiable third-party lab name
  • 06Testing method clearly stated

§ 04

How to verify a COA

V-01

Request COA before purchasing

Any reputable supplier will provide a COA on request. If they hesitate or refuse, walk away.

V-02

Match batch number

The batch/lot number on the COA must match the batch/lot number on your physical vial.

V-03

Research the testing lab

Google the lab name. Legitimate labs like Janoshik have a web presence, client reviews, and contact info.

V-04

Contact the lab if suspicious

For expensive orders or suspicious COAs, you can email the lab with the report number to verify it was issued.

§ 05

Trusted independent testing labs

If you want to independently verify a product you have already purchased, these labs accept samples directly from consumers.

§ 06

Why this matters especially in the Philippines

The Philippines pharmaceutical regulatory environment is developing. Unlike the US, EU, or Australia, there is no established enforcement mechanism for research peptide quality. The market contains both excellent quality products and counterfeit or underdosed compounds.

COA is your primary protection. It is not foolproof — a COA can be fabricated — which is why we recommend only suppliers using verifiable third-party labs like Janoshik, where you can cross-reference the report.
