Wegovy titrates through five dose tiers: 0.25, 0.5, 1.0, 1.7, and 2.4mg, each a separate pen SKU. Every figure above was read from the Watsons Philippines listing on 26 August 2026. The pricing shape worth knowing: the first three tiers all cost the same ₱9,900, so titrating from 0.25mg to 1mg costs nothing extra per month, and the whole ladder from starter pen to flagship dose adds only about ₱2,750. Pharmacy pricing changes without notice and varies by branch, so never assume a listing transfers to a counter; confirm the same day.
The math is simple: one Wegovy pen holds four weekly doses, so one pen is one month. There is no partial-pen discount and no PhilHealth coverage for the weight-loss indication, so the pen price is your real monthly out-of-pocket cost.

A full titration run is cheaper than most buyers assume, because the three lowest tiers all carry the same ₱9,900 pen price, so the months before 2.4mg cost less than the flagship dose rather than more. It is still close to ten thousand pesos a month, and it is out of pocket: HMOs (Maxicare, Intellicare, Medicard) cover GLP-1s only for the diabetes indication with pre-authorization, which Wegovy, as the obesity-branded pen, rarely qualifies for.
Watsons is the chain that publishes a Wegovy price, and it is the source for every peso figure on this page: ₱9,900 through the 1mg tier, ₱11,600 at 1.7mg, ₱12,650 at 2.4mg, all checked on 26 August 2026. The listing is prescription-flagged, and Watsons asks for the prescription to be emailed with the order number for pharmacist validation before the order is released. Expect click and collect rather than delivery on the GLP-1 lines.
Mercury Drug does not publish a Wegovy price I have been able to verify, so this page does not quote one for it. That matters, because earlier versions of this filing carried Mercury Drug figures roughly double the Watsons listing, and those figures were wrong. If a branch quotes you a number, treat it as a branch quote rather than a national price.
Rose Pharmacy, Southstar and MedsGo are the other chains worth checking. All three publish prices across parts of the GLP-1 shelf, Rose and Southstar are two of the three chains confirming the Ozempic figures used later on this page, and their listings move independently of Watsons. The practical pattern: check the chain listing online, then call the branch before leaving the house. A confirmed quote at a branch 20 minutes away beats a hopeful trip to the nearest one, and a quote far below the figures above is a reason to double-check the pen rather than celebrate.
The most dependable way to get Wegovy in Metro Manila is through a hospital: book an endocrinology consult (₱1,500 to 2,500 at the majors), walk out with the prescription, and fill it at the in-house pharmacy the same day.

Filling at the hospital on consult day removes the stockout gamble and the second trip: the prescribing endocrinologists write directly into the hospital pharmacy queue, so those counters carry GLP-1s more reliably than retail. Hospital pharmacies do not publish their pen prices, so this page quotes none for them; expect to pay at or above the chain listings above and ask for the figure before the pharmacist rings it up.
Wegovy and Ozempic are the same molecule, semaglutide, in different branding: Ozempic carries the diabetes indication and tops out at 1.0mg pens locally, Wegovy carries the obesity indication and goes to 2.4mg. In the Philippines, the branding gap is a price gap.

The gap is real but small, and smaller than this page used to claim. At a matched 1mg dose Wegovy costs about ₱1,200 more per pen than Ozempic, and the flagship 2.4mg Wegovy pen is ₱5,000 a month above the cheapest Ozempic pen. Some PH endocrinologists prescribe Ozempic off-label for weight loss anyway, on price and on stock, but at these figures the price argument for doing so is weaker than the dose-ceiling argument: Ozempic pens stop at 1mg. The reason many self-directed protocols in the country do not run on Wegovy pens: research-grade semaglutide 5mg vials run ₱2,800 to 4,500 and cover a month or more at maintenance doses. Against ₱12,650 for the 2.4mg pen, that is roughly a three to four times gap for the identical active molecule, not the fivefold gap this page previously claimed, and it narrows further once consult fees, supplies, bloodwork and cold-chain shipping go into the column. What you give up is the pharma pen format, registered-pharmacy dispensing, and the audited cold-chain, which means the diligence work shifts to you: demand a third-party COA for every batch, insist on cold-chain packaging, and run your own baseline labs before starting.
