The pen price and the monthly cost are not the same figure for a daily injection. How long one pen lasts depends on the prescribed daily dose, and prescribing belongs with a licensed Philippine physician.
Saxenda is Novo Nordisk's brand name for liraglutide labelled for weight management. It is a GLP-1 receptor agonist, the same drug class as semaglutide and the GLP-1 half of tirzepatide, delivered by a multi-dose pen. The distinguishing feature is the schedule: liraglutide is injected once every day rather than once a week.

The per-pen figure is not comparable with a weekly pen's. A weekly pen delivers a fixed number of weekly doses; a daily pen is used up at whatever daily dose is prescribed, so its monthly cost depends on the prescription. This page does not work that out, because the dose is a decision for a licensed Philippine physician.

Saxenda is injected once a day. The semaglutide and tirzepatide pens listed in the Philippines, Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro, are injected once a week. Over a year that is roughly 365 injections against 52, and every pen in use has to be carried and stored as its label directs.
Which schedule suits a given person, and which molecule, is a conversation for a prescriber who knows that person's history, not a preference this site can rank.
In STEP 8, a 68-week phase 3b trial of 338 US adults with obesity or overweight and no diabetes, body weight fell 6.4% on liraglutide 3.0 mg and 15.8% on semaglutide 2.4 mg, against 1.9% on placebo.
In the same trial, nausea was reported by 59.1% on liraglutide and 61.1% on semaglutide, against 22.4% on placebo and discontinuation for adverse events was reported by 12.6% on liraglutide and 3.2% on semaglutide, against 3.5% on placebo.
