Short answer
As of 23 September 2026, no Philippine pharmacy publishes a peso price for Rybelsus online, although it is registered with FDA Philippines (BR-1413, BR-1411, BR-1412). Rybelsus is a once-daily semaglutide tablet for type 2 diabetes. The FDA Philippines portal returned no registration for a Wegovy tablet. Rybelsus needs a prescription, and prescribing belongs with a licensed Philippine physician.
Ozempic, Wegovy and Rybelsus. Three brand names in the Philippines, and one molecule inside all three: semaglutide. Ozempic is a weekly pen labelled for type 2 diabetes. Wegovy is a weekly pen labelled for weight management. Rybelsus is a daily tablet. At Watsons, Ozempic pens cost ₱8,187.50 to ₱9,280, and Wegovy pens ₱9,900 to ₱12,650. At the matched 1 mg strength, Wegovy costs about 7 percent more than Ozempic. The 1.7 mg and 2.4 mg pens exist only as Wegovy. Rybelsus is registered with FDA Philippines, yet Watsons, Southstar Drug and Rose Pharmacy list no price for it online, and Mercury Drug publishes none. And the Wegovy pill? A Wegovy tablet has a US approval, but no Philippine registration. The semaglutide tablet registered here is Rybelsus. All three are prescription medicines. Prescribing belongs with a licensed Philippine physician. A research vial of semaglutide is not the same product. The pens and tablet are registered medicines. Novo Nordisk sells the same molecule, semaglutide, under three brand names registered in the Philippines. Ozempic is the weekly injectable pen that US FDA and EMA records list for type 2 diabetes. Wegovy is the weekly injectable pen those records list for weight management. Rybelsus is the once-daily tablet. In the Philippines, the semaglutide tablet on the register is Rybelsus.
Drugs@FDA lists a Wegovy tablet approval in the United States (NDA218316, approved 22 December 2025), but the FDA Philippines verification portal returned no Philippine registration for it on 23 September 2026. A Wegovy pill offered for sale in the Philippines is therefore not a registered product here.

Rybelsus is registered with FDA Philippines as a prescription medicine in 3 mg, 7 mg and 14 mg tablets (BR-1411, BR-1412 and BR-1413), checked on 23 September 2026. It is dispensed the same way as the pens: a prescription first, and prescribing belongs with a licensed Philippine physician.
On price, there is nothing verified to publish. When the chains were checked on 23 September 2026, Mercury Drug, Watsons, Southstar Drug and Rose Pharmacy published no peso price for Rybelsus online. So no mainstream pharmacy publishes a figure, and a quoted price is a reseller or import figure rather than a pharmacy listing. This page will not invent a range to fill that gap.

The tablet removes the injection and adds rules about how it is taken, which are set out in the Rybelsus prescribing information. Which form suits a given person is a decision for the prescriber, and prescribing belongs with a licensed Philippine physician.
Compounded semaglutide is a United States term. Per the US FDA's statement on unapproved GLP-1 drugs, licensed US compounding pharmacies produced semaglutide while it was on the FDA drug shortage list, and the agency has since declared that shortage resolved.
Under RA 9711 a drug must be registered with FDA Philippines before it is imported, sold or distributed; the detail is in the regulation hub. Manila Bulletin reported on 14 March 2026 that a doctors' group warned the public against compounded, non-FDA-registered versions of Ozempic and Mounjaro. Is there a Wegovy pill in the Philippines?
Not a registered one. Is Rybelsus available at Mercury Drug, and what is the price?
Mercury Drug publishes no medicine prices online, so its Rybelsus price and branch stock can be confirmed only by phone or at the counter. No other mainstream Philippine chain published a Rybelsus peso figure when checked on 23 September 2026. Rybelsus is a prescription medicine.
Is there an Ozempic tablet?
Not in the Philippines. The FDA Philippines register lists Ozempic only as injectable pens (4 certificates), and the semaglutide tablet registered here is Rybelsus. In the United States, Drugs@FDA lists the semaglutide tablet application NDA213051 under the names Rybelsus and Ozempic (tablets). An Ozempic tablet offered in the Philippines is not a registered product here.
Can compounded semaglutide be bought in the Philippines?
Not as a registered medicine.
